So hey guys! I hope everyone is having a smashing week! My week has been surprisingly pleasant, but let’s see how long that lasts! I didn’t post a Top Ten Tuesday yesterday because I already did a resolutions post so I would just be repeating myself. But I am definitely here to do Top 5 Wednesday!

I am not doing my WWW Wednesday this week because everything has virtual stayed the same, so I am dedicating all of my time to top 5 Wednesday! This weekly meme was originally made by Lainey on Booktube (here channel is gingerreadslainey). You can look at the Top 5 Wednesday Goodreads page here.
I am currently rereading Mockingjay before the movie comes out (which is tomorrow in the UK! (which I will not be able to watch as soon as because I promised by friends I would watch it with them next week)) So this is the perfect subject for this week.

Yay, a Top 5 Wednesday Post I can finally write about!
This weeks topic as you probably already know if top 5 books you did not finish and I don’t usually DNF books a lot now but there are still a couple of main books that have just slipped off my radar until now. Let’s go then!

1. Angelfall by Susan Ee
I actually don’t know why I didn’t finish off this book, but I didn’t and I have lost interest in Angel orientated books at the moment so I won’t be picking up this book again.
2. Paper Towns by John Green
Now I was really looking forward to this book but it literally left my radar. I was in a kind of in a reading slump during the summer so I didn’t read much of anything so don’t take it personally any Paper Towns fans!
3. The Dragonfly Pool by Eva Ibbotson
This is a middle grade-ish story I believe and I was just not getting into it. And even though the book wasn’t for people of my age, the start of the book was still rather slow and not interesting.
4. The 9th Girl by Tami Hoag
I have just lost interest of the book completely. Though the characters seem interesting in there own right, there’s is just too much specialist jargon for me to really enjoy this book.
5. Lord Of The Ring: The Fellowship Of The Ring by T.R.R Tolkien
A DNF list wouldn’t be complete without my special little buddy Lord Of The Rings. I think I need to get the special edition where the story is cut into 10 smaller parts because the Lord Of The Rings is just too massive to conquer in one.

Hey you guys! I hope everyone is enjoying November so far, I think I am waking up really happy everyday because it’s another day closer to Christmas (I’m a really sad person I know) and I ordered a book or two from The Book Depository and it was my first order from the site so I really hope that the books that come aren’t battered or bruised.

What are you currently reading?
More Than This by Patrick Ness- I am about to start reading More Than This by Patrick Ness, which I heard is a brilliant book! I don’t know what is going to happen in the book and though everyone likes this book, I am keeping my expectations relatively low.
The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseni, Illustrated by Fabio Celoni and Mirka Andolfo– I am thinking of reading a Graphic Novel while reading More Than This because I liked how I was able to switch between two different text when I saw fit. I wasn’t really able to get into the book so I’m giving the Graphic Novel a try!
What have you read previously?
Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children by Ranson Riggs- I just finished this and a review is to come soon! Overall not a perfect book or the story I thought it was going to be but I can’t wait to get my hands on Hollow City! I’m always late to the party when it comes to series and trilogies or books overall.
Maus by Art Spielgelman- I finished Maus as well today and it was a superb graphic novel. Again a review to come soon but I just want to say that this was fantastic and every good graphic novel is pushing me into the graphic novel world more. I don’t think I’m at Saga stage yet (if that makes sense!).
The Rest Of Us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness- I did a review on this book (right here if you want to check it out) and it was a solid book but a little disappointing at points I have to say. All my thoughts are in that review if you want to know more.
What books you are planning to read?
Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins- Yes yes and yes I am going to try to reread this before I watch the last installment of the movie franchise. I have to say that Part 1 was a little meh (Catching Fire is my favourite!) but I am hoping they step it up for Part 2. I remember liking this book when I read it a while ago, so lets hope the second time around is no different.

It’s Wednesday. And this is a book blog. So you know it’s WWW Wednesday! Now because I am the biggest scardy cat in the who world, I couldn’t do Top 5 Spooky Recommends for Top 5 Wednesday. How’s you Wednesday been anyway? I got some serious backstory done for one of my antagonists for NaNoWriMo which is really great! I also made an instagram for books and everything bookish because I think it would be fun to share everything bookish about me in a different format. Here it is if you want to check it out!

I am currently- well about to be starting- Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs and I cannot wait! It’s a book everyone recommends to me to read and I finally am! I really hope this book is amazing because I have high expectations.
What have you read previously?
I finished The Rest Of Us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness yesterday night and it is a really solid book in my opinion. A review to come soon! Also I read Shadow and Bone and Six Of Crows by Leigh Bardugo which are brilliant brilliant books! Six Of Crows is one of the best books I’ve read all year and Shadow and Bone was very gripping as well!
What books you are planning to read?
Well I don’t plan on reading many books because NaNoWriMo, but if I do have a scrap of time it will be dedicated to reading More Than This by Patrick Ness and finishing The 9th Girl my Tami Hoag.

Hi everyone! How’s your Wednesday been? Mine has been good until I found out this boy in one of my classes has an annoying fixation on beating me on every test. It isn’t healthy. Any advice for me problem? Anyway, I feel like I can confidently do T5W today and it’s a great T5W- Top 5 authors you discovered this year. You all know the drill with WWW Wednesday, so lets get to it!

1) Rainbow Rowell
I seriously love her writing style. I can read her books in a couple of hours if I weren’t so busy! She is definitely becoming one of those auto-buy authors.
2) Markus Zusak
The Book Thief was literally too many feels I couldn’t cope. His writing in that book was so unique and bemusing but amazing overall. I am so glad that I discovered Zusak and I am on the hunt for his other books.
3) Erin Morgenstern
Ugh The Night Circus was so good! After a finished that book it was like I was in a state of wonder. Morgenstern’s descriptions were so delicious I never wanted to be in a fictional place so much, excluding Hogwarts of course. I am super glad I found her and her book!
4) Victoria Aveyard
Even though there is a lot of conflicting views on the Red Queen I personally loved it! Thus, thankful for discovered Aveyard and she will definitely be an auto-buy author if she branches out of the Red Queen Trilogy.
5) Erika Johansen
I feel in love with the Tearling world during September and I can safety say that Johansen’s writing made everything a lot simpler than they could of been. There is a lot of politics in the The Queen and Invasion of the Tearling but I didn’t find anything overly complicated or heavy. I am so happy I discovered her and cannot wait to finish off the trilogy.

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is having an epic. Wednesday! Being new to blogging I was thinking I should just throw myself in the deep end and do these two weekly posts!
Firstly WWW!
What are you currently reading?
-The Book Thief by Mark Zusak
It feels like I haven’t even made a dent in this book! It seems big, but I know I can easily finish this book if I focus all of my attention on it! The writing style still seems very new to me, but I can feel myself easing into slightly.
What have you read previously?
-Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
Well you can check my September wrap up if you want my full run down of the previous books I have read. But I did finish Faingirl on Sunday and I just fell in love with it! My review is to come soon!
What books you are planning to read?
Well this is a nice transition onto T5W. But I am planning to read a load of graphic novels but also…
-Carry on by Rainbow Rowell. This is my priority read for the next couple of days. I loved the bits of Carry On that were in Fangirl and I can’t wait to read the long length novel of the story!
Now onto T5w!
This weeks T5W was top 5 graphic novels, but I have a little confession to make….I don’t read graphic novels. It’s funny because I don’t think I dislike graphic novels I simply don’t read them. So to twist the T5W to my favour and turned it to top 5 graphic novels I want to read soon.
I went straight to the library today and picked five of the most interesting graphic novels from the dismal collection and borrowed them. Seriously, most of the novels were not in order at all and I was pretty sure I couldn’t carry on reading the novel from book 4. I also made a point about not going on Goodreads to look up on any ratings or reviews, I wanted to see if I could pick a good graphic novel for myself without subconsciously thinking about ratings.
I will keep my summaries to a minimum on each pick because I really don’t know anything new about them.
1. Town of the Evening Calm, Country of Cherry Blossoms by Fumiyo Kounio
This manga follow the story of a average women living in Hiroshima after the atomic bomb is dropped. I found the summary really intriguing and I loved how deceiving the cover was because when I picked it up I thought it was going to be a romance!
2. Jane Austen’s Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen
I haven’t heard of this Jane Austen novel, but I saw the summary on the back and thought, why not?
3. Great Expectations by Charles Dickens
This is one of the two classic book that I would like to read in normal novel form. It’s a classic so I have to read it, but Dickens in a bit intimidating, so I’m starting with a graphic novel.
4. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
And the second graphic novel which is a classic in normal novel form. I did try (last summer I think?) reading the normal copy but the start is just so boring! Just saying what I feel guys, just so many pages until I got to the actual story and by the time I didn’t feel like reading it anymore. Hopefully after reading the graphic novel of the story, it will help me with the actual novel.
5. The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini (Illustrated by Fabio Celoni and Mirka Andolfo)
If you guys have read my October TBR, you would know that The Kite Runner in novel form is in there. I borrowed this just if I wanted to read the book but in a lighter form after The Book Thief.
