About Me

Astra is my online name and I chose it because it was the first part of this blog name- A Stranger’s Guide to Novels to be very straightforward. But also it evokes images of stars and galaxies. A bigger world, different and new. Something books represent as well.

I’m a slayer of books and reader of dragons. Only hear to ramble, mumble and occasionally use BLOCK CAPITALS TO SHOW YOU MY IMMENSE PASSION FOR BOOKS.

The pure purpose of this blog is to discuss books with people who love them as much as I do. And maybe give a more diverse opinion on books and writings due to my Black British background.

Born and bred in England, I always carry an umbrella, spell colour with a u and enjoy my tea pipping hot.
