Book Inspired Outfits!

Hello guys! I saw this week’s Top Ten Tuesday theme and my mind went blank. Of course I read some funny books but I’m not sure if I could make a great post about the handful I really loved. So decided to do a different kind of post today.

It was a wonderfully beautiful day today and it just got me into the springy/summery mood! The sun was shining and I was imagining all of the cute summer outfits I’ll be wearing while reading in various locations and I thought why don’t I make a post about this. And I have!

So brace yourself for colour, messed up fashion sense and some converse!

*By the way all pictures are taken from google images to create my lovely outfits

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

Carry On by Rainbow Rowell

Radio Silence by Alice Oseman

All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven

Those are five book inspired outfits for the spring/summer! Now you know I have a thing for clashing colours and denim.

Tell me if you liked any of the outfits a pieced together and if you have a favourite! My favourite is the Six of Crows inspired outfit and the Radio Silence inspired outfit, but I love all of them! Oh and I had to add a jumper and jeans combo because I live in the UK sooo sunshine one minute and rain the next!

Until next time…

I’ll write soon!

I like the concept of this post. What fun! Can’t say I can contribute to the outfits discussion because I haven’t read any of those books yet, but they look really nice to me. They definitely go together.

Ohh, this post combines two of my favourites things; books and fashion!
I love all the outfits but I think my favourite is probably the one for Radio Silence (it makes me want to read the book even more) the jumper looks really cosy and I love the rainbow scarf and converse!
Honestly I’d probably wear all those outfits (I like to think I have a varied fashion sense) and this is such a great post. I love seeing outfit combinations based on books. There needs to be more!

MINE TOO! But the fashion side is lacking a bit as I’ve been spending a lot money on books!
I love the Radio Silence outfit too! I need to get rainbow converse now hahaha!
I’m glad you liked the outfits πŸ˜€ You should definitely do a post like this too Beth! I’m already thinking about doing another post like this because it was so fun!

I think when it comes to a choice between books and fashion I’m always going to pick books!
I love converse in general but honestly those rainbow ones are so pretty, and they’ll definitely brighten up an otherwise plain outfit.
I may actually, I’ve seen a few fashion posts and I love looking through them so I may have to include one on my blog. I’m looking forwards to seeing your next one too!

Loved it! I’m doing something like this for my project at college, apart from in a magazine article form. I just love seeing people make outfits inspired by books so I’ll be doing my own in the project πŸ˜€ Tempted to post some of the photos on my blog once they’re done, since I’ve been spending so much time on it already haha!

I love this! I am TERRIBLE at fashion, but I fully appreciate people who can put cute outfits together! My favourite is the Radio Silence one, I would definitely wear that. I like the Six of Crows one too. The Carry On and All The Bright Places outfits are super cute, but I couldn’t bring myself to wear colours πŸ˜‚ I love the dress you chose for Carry On and I would wear it, but I’d change it to black lmao πŸ˜‚

I’m glad that you like them! I thought I would look like a looney put rainbow converse in this post hahaha. I was tempted to put a black dress into this post actually but then I remember about the whole wearing black will make you feel warmer in the summer. It’s not going to stop me though hahaha.

Haha, no, I love it!! I was around during the MySpace scene kid days so it makes me feel very nostalgic πŸ˜‚ People always say that when I’m dressed completely in black during summer. I think I’ve become immune to it hahaha.

Ooh I love your idea for creating outfits that would match books. Prepare for people to be inspired!
I think my favourite is The Night Circus inspired one. Or Radio Silence.
