Even though it is still New Years Eve in the UK I am conscious that it is already 2016 in some places in the world or it will be very soon, so Happy New Year! I don’t normally make resolutions because I always end up not sticking to them, but not I thought I would make a special exception because I was tagged by Jordan @ Words…I Need Words… to do this tag so let’s get on with it.
Bookish Resolutions
In 2016, I will…
- Try to read more suspense/horror books
I’m a scaredy cat, but it might just be restricting me in books I can read. I mean there might be an amazing book out in the world, but I’m not reading it because there is gore or something. Stephen King here I come hahahaha.
- Read more novels with mental health as the main issue
Does it sound weird if I say that I find these kind of stories interesting? I don’t know but it’s refreshing to read a novel with a character who isn’t picture perfect, but with real human problems.
- Read more classics
I swear I have been depriving my mind of classics for too long. It’s time to step into the world of Dickens and the Brontë sisters.
Book Blogging Resolutions
In 2016, I will…
- Not neglect my blog for long periods of time
It is only the end part of 2015 I’ve been doing this but no more!
- Comment and interact more with the bloggers I follow and my own followers
I really do love talking to all of you, so I will be putting a priority on this point for 2016.
Career/ Academic Resolutions
In 2016, I will…
- Try not to procrastinate too much on studying
- Actually PRACTISE my French
Personal Resolutions
In 2016, I will…
- Try to eat more healthy
I know this cliche but during NaNoWriMo I just started binging on sweets and it didn’t really stop. I’m going to end up with no teeth if I keep going at this rate!
- Be more helpful
- Always look at the bigger picture in situation that look bad
I am a big worrier but I have started to think if what I am worrying about is worth my effort, so I just need to continue doing that I suppose.
And that’s the tag! I seriously tag EVERYONE because I think it is rather therapeutic if I was totally honest.
Happy New Year again!
I’ll write soon!
